Welcome to “For the Record,” a monthly newsletter about projects new and old, travel, and other parts of my life as a creative. I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, and I’m so happy you’re here to see the beginning of it.

In the many years of battling (and losing against) social media algorithms, trends, and now having AI being shoved down all of our throats, I thought it might be best to change course in how I share my updates with you. I’ll still be on social media (for the memes and brain rot, of course), but I’ll reserve this outlet for my most important updates.

On a personal note, I want to give my parents a special shoutout for reaching the nineteenth anniversary of their kidney transplant. In a true act of selflessness, my dad donated one of his kidneys to my mom to save her life. I’m so lucky to have witnessed their model of unconditional love for these nearly twenty years, and I’m happy to celebrate the gift of life every January 14th.
